ONLINE: Preserving for the Future: A Trip to Fairchild’s Herbarium

Did you know botanist build their own time capsules? Since the 15th century, botanists have been preserving samples of plants and keeping them in libraries called a herbarium. This workshop takes place at Fairchild’s herbarium that houses thousands of specimens collected around the world. During this workshop, you will learn why saving collections is important and then create your own herbarium press.
