For the intermediate to the advanced artist, this three-day intensive still life workshop challenges the participant to develop a small-scale master copy in oil. Inspired by floral paintings from the Dutch Golden Age, the student will attempt to suggest a close interpretation of works crafted by Clara Peeters, Jan Davidsz de Heem, or Nicolaus van Verendael. Advancing skills in drawing and painting, the student will also develop a stronger comprehension in principles of design, color and composition.
